Elise Higgins Children's Center (Extended Care)
The Extended Care Center exists solely to serve the needs of St. Simon Catholic School children. The Center aims to provide a happy, safe, secure, stimulating and spiritual atmosphere for your child.
The Center incorporates the following programs:
- Extended Care Enrichment Program - an extension of the regular school day. Quality childcare is provided before and after school for the families whose children attend St. Simon School. The program emphasizes social interaction with physical and small project activities.
- A study area is available for grades 1 to 8 to begin homework assignments.
The Extended Care Center is situated at the south side of the church property. It is open from 7 AM to 6 PM each school day. The facility is not in use during holidays and school vacations. Childcare may be offered on in-service days with a minimum of 20 students. Notification will be posted at Extended Care.
